Multidisciplinary Teams-MDT
To discuss all/selected cases of child maltreatment referred to the CARE House of the Pee Dee To discuss any case referred by a multidisciplinary team member.

To coordinate the efforts of all agencies that work with maltreated children and their families in specified county.
To discuss cases and offer a plan of action that provides protection and safety for the child(ren) and the best interest and wellbeing of the child(ren), family and community.
(Any recommendations offered by the MDT members will not supersede agency policies and procedures and are intended to assist the agency providing case management to the child/family in providing coordinated, efficient, and timely services.)
To discuss and implement a plan for referring the children/family to resources within the community that would be beneficial for the family (i.e. counseling, housing, food assistance, childcare, domestic violence intervention).
